Abstract

Edentulism is an indicator of oral health. More than 70% of Indian population especially the rural population suffers partial edentulism which is an alarming situation because of the limited facilities available in rural areas. Partially edentulous situations can be treated with different options viz. removable dentures, fixed dentures and dental implant supported.
