Prosthetic management of malnourished infant with clef t palate using a feeding plate appliance – A Case report

Abstract

This article describes the prosthetic management of one month old infant with cleft palate. The infant was suffering from malnourishment due to inefficient feeding because of the cleft. The case was treated with a feeding plate appliance made of heat cure acrylic resin to close the current oro-nasal communication
